The Beaches in Lido
Camping San Nicolò is a camping near Venice, directly overlooking the sea of the island of Lido.
The beaches of the Lido, protected by the two dikes of S. Nicolò and the Alberoni and the countless dams that leave from the shore in front of each establishment, make it easy to bathe even for younger children.
In our camping in Lido di Venezia you can enjoy a unique sea experience, combining the classic holiday with cultural and food and wine tours in the Serenissima and the surrounding area. In the island of Lido guests can choose between the equipped beaches and the free beach .
The main feature of the beaches equipped the Lido is the hut: a large cabin with a veranda and awning added to the closed structure. The bathing establishments are many and all give the opportunity to rent the different equipment (hut, shed, umbrella, sunbed) according to the needs (day, week, month, full season).
The free beach extends to the two ends of the island, in the towns of San Nicolò and Alberoni. The Murazzi rocks are also characteristic, while the Bluemoon beach is the closest to the Santa Maria Elisabetta vaporetto stop.
The Lido of Venice has received the prestigious recognition of the Blue Flag, a voluntary eco-label assigned to the seaside resorts that meet criteria related to the sustainable management of the territory.
